“ Carninitas are easy to cook and even more easy to mess up..Most places I've been to here in Modesto, serve overly salted Carnitas. The salsa and everything else beans, rice, most othe mexican foods seem to have extra sodium that takes over the natural flavor of the food. Hard to find a place that leaves the salt for you to add. So far I found that the Carninitas here are perfect.. The street Carnitas tacos here are delicious. I don't mean spicey, I.mean thier so good that the term FIRE comes to.mind. Fresh Pico on the tacos with some sour cream and you can't go wrong. I highly recommend this place for the Carnitas and Carne Asada Street Tacos, especially to take home with a six pack of your favorite beer mex beer and enjoy a safe and authentic Mexican meal you'll want to come back soon. ”
“ I stopped at Maria's Taco Shop for lunch. I ordered a beef taco salad and it was fresh and delicious! And the beer was cold and refreshing. I enjoyed the extensive salsa bar (and FREE chips when you dine in)! The owner Maria was delightful. The next day, I purchased a carnitas burrito--it was huge and I got 2 meals out of it. The meat was cooked perfectly and Mexican rice and beans were very authentic. I give Maria's 5 'Yums' up! ”
“ Good food however they messed up on 1 item. We had requested no sour cream because of dairy allergy and they out it on the food. so make sure to check your food if you have special requests. Other than that food was great. Im amazed theyre open 24hrs… ”
